Clinton Sweeps Hillsdale to Stay Unbeaten in LCAA Play

The Clinton Redwolves volleyball team kept its perfect league record intact Tuesday night, defeating Hillsdale in straight sets to continue their unbeaten run in LCAA play. Clinton’s mix of strong hitting, sharp setting, and scrappy defense proved too much for the Hornets.
Setter Avery Loftis led the charge with 5 kills, 24 assists, and 10 digs, while fellow setter Addison Loftis chipped in with 3 kills, 10 assists, and 8 digs.
In the middle, Bella Bannon had a standout night, hammering down 15 kills while hitting an impressive .483, and adding 5 digs. Abby Sheneman provided more production at the net with 6 kills, hitting .333, along with 3 digs and 1 solo block.
On the outside, Rylee Pepper added 6 kills and 7 digs, Makenna Gore contributed 4 kills, and Zoey Utz chipped in with 1 kill.
Defensively, libero Brailey Gibson was rock-solid in the back row, finishing with 19 digs and 3 aces, while Calli Kruger added 9 digs and 1 ace.
