The Clinton Redwolves volleyball team keeps its unbeaten streak alive in the LCAA, defeating Dundee 3 sets to 1 on Thursday night. With the victory, Clinton improves its league record to 5-0.
The Redwolves were fueled by a balanced attack and gritty defense. Setter Avery Loftis turned in a strong all-around performance with 9 kills, 25 assists, and 15 digs, while fellow setter Addison Loftis added 15 kills, 24 assists, and 19 digs to spark the offense.
In the middle, Bella Bannon hammered down 12 kills while hitting .267, and chipped in 10 digs and 2 aces. Rylee Pepper was steady on the outside with 10 kills and 12 digs, while Makenna Gore tallied 7 kills. Abby Sheneman contributed at the net as well with 3 kills, 6 digs, and 1 solo block.
The Redwolves back row was once again a strength, anchored by libero Calli Kruger’s 36 digs and 1 ace. Defensive specialist Brailey Gibson also made her presence felt with 19 digs and 3 aces, while Lila Kennedy added 5 digs.
