The Clinton Redwolves volleyball team continued its strong season on Tuesday night, sweeping both Columbia Central and Ann Arbor Christian in a home Tri-Match. With the two victories, Clinton improved its overall record to 12-3 on the year.
The Redwolves offense was steady and balanced, led by setter Avery Loftis, who finished with 4 kills, 34 assists, 12 digs, and 5 aces. Setter Addison Loftis added a dominant all-around effort of her own, recording 18 kills, 15 assists, 13 digs, and 3 aces.
In the middle, Bella Bannon powered down 11 kills while hitting .393, along with 7 digs and 1 ace, while Abby Sheneman provided a spark at the net with 8 kills, hitting .438, and 2 digs. On the outside, Rylee Pepper chipped in 6 kills and 3 digs, while Makenna Gore added 4 kills and Zoey Utz contributed 1 kill.
Defensively, the Redwolves were led by Brailey Gibson’s 33 digs and 5 aces, while Calli Kruger and Lila Kennedy provided steady support in the back row with 16 digs and 7 digs, respectively.
