The Lady Redwolves varsity volleyball team battled through opening day of competition, falling just short in a close match against Napoleon before bouncing back with a dominant two-set victory over Stockbridge.

Against Napoleon, the wolves fought hard in a back-and-forth contest, pushing the Pirates to the wire. Despite the loss, the team showed resilience and strong execution on both offense and defense.

The Wolves carried that energy into their next matchup against Stockbridge, where they wasted no time taking control. Behind sharp serving and a balanced attack, the team swept Stockbridge in straight sets.

Junior setter Avery Loftis led the charge with a commanding 22 kills and added 26 assists. Addison Loftis followed with a strong all-around performance, tallying 13 kills, 24 assists, and 19 digs. Bella Bannon chipped in 9 kills, while Rylee Pepper added 6 kills to round out the offensive firepower.

Defensively, the Wolves were anchored by Brailey Gibson's 24 digs, while Calli Kruger collected 18 digs and Lila Kennedy added 13 digs to keep plays alive.

At the service line, the team was locked in, with a 93% serving percentage.
