Clinton Varsity Girls Volleyball tournament traveled to Morenci today for a quad match against Sand Creek, Morenci, and Reading.  They came out with a 2-1 record losing to Sand Creek in four games.  At Morenci, Clinton serve 94% as a team as well as hitting ,195 as a team.  

Lena Korte had a season high 41 kills and hit ,407 on the day with 5 blocks while Tess Woerner had 25 kills, 12 digs, and 28 serve receive passes.  Leading passing today was Ashlyn Schmidt led the team with 42 digs, 27 serve receive passes, and 26 points while Sophia Sheneman had 24 digs and 19 serve receive passes.  Josilyn Schanz had 10 kills, 7 blocks with the game winner against Reading with 9 points while Noelle Riley had 9 kills, 8 blocks, 9 aces with 25 points.  Setting up the hitters today Karlee Szczesniak had 4 kills, 63 assists, 9 aces, and 38 points while Nalani Schanz had 24 assits, 5 aces, and 21 points.  Also contributing today for Clinton was Mackenzie Brandvold with 8 kills, 14 digs, and 14 serve receive passes as well as Ella Thompson had 2 kills, 8 points, 6 serve receive passes while Taylor Randolph had 4 kills and 2 blocks. 

Clinton travels to Blissfield on Tuesday this week Tuesday start with JV at 5:30 pm on 9/29.  They stand at 5-3 for the 2020 season and look to build on this record in the next few weeks.
