The Clinton Redskins golf team were treated to a very tough course today on the campus of Grand Valley State University, the Meadows. The Redskins currently sit in 14th place only 6 strokes out of 10th place. That will be the main focus tomorrow for the team, as they get another shot at making up those strokes tomorrow for day 2. Austin Fauser is sitting in a tie for 1st place with a +1, 73 today with his friend, Mitch Lowney from Clarkston Everest Collegiate Catholic.  Garrett Ramos is in a tie for 43rd with a score of 89. Rounding out the scoring for the rest of the team are Eric Berndt with a 106, Daniel Shovels with a 110 and Will Gragg with a 140. "We will continue to grind out there tomorrow and try to move up to that elusive 10th spot. And Austin will continue to strive for his 2nd Individual state championship tomorrow. We will get after it and I like our team's attitude, as the course came out as the victor today." commented Coach Ramos
