The Division 4 #8 Ranked Clinton Redskins were able to claim the school's first Regional Golf Championship today at Concord Hills GC (par 72, 6216 yds) for Region #24. They were able to beat Division IV #4 ranked Lansing Christian by 18 strokes. Austin Fauser fired a -1, 71 on the day to earn Medalist Honors. For the MHSAA Golf State tournament each division has 6 regions and at each region the top 3 teams advance to the State Finals held at four different golf courses around the state of Michigan. For the second year in row, the Redskins will be traveling to Michigan State University to play Forest Akers East Course. Clinton will begin the State Finals next Friday June 8th and Saturday June 9th. "The boys want to beat their team scoring record and place as high as we can in the standings at tournaments end." stated Coach Ramos
