The Redskins played host to TCC second-place Sand Creek on Monday night, taking down the Aggies 55-45. This was a district preview, as Clinton will travel to Sand Creek to open district play on March 5th.

"This was an important win for us. We kept our game plan very simple and focused on two or three things we needed to do better since the last time we played them. We executed those and it paid off," Coach Jordan Kelly said. 

The Redskins used a big 3rd quarter to come back from a 24-22 halftime deficit to take a 45-30 lead at the end of the quarter. The quarter was fueled by a strong defensive effort and executing on offense to get good looks at the basket. Clinton was patient and killed some clock in the 4th quarter to secure the win.

Four players scored in double-figures to lead Clinton. Justin Felts had 14 points, Robbie Campbell scored 13 (8-10 from the FT line), Collin Stapnowski added 11, and Steven Fortney tacked on 10.

The Redskins have a quick turnaround and host the Addison Panthers Tuesday night for a non-league match-up.
