Nate Arntz hitting one of his approach shots today at Timber Ridge GC
The Clinton Varsity Golf Team participated in the Division III Region 16 MHSAA Regional today at Timber Ridge GC, par 72 6,200 yds, in Lansing MI. The Redwolves played a pretty solid round of golf today by shooting a 425, finishing 16/18. Hanover Horton won the Regional with a score of 330. "The course was pretty tight today and the kids were able to make some on the fly adjustments. Not the result we were looking for overall, but it was a great sesaon of growth with all of our players. We will be missing our 2 fantastic seniors and even better young adults." stated Coach Ramos. The Redwolves were led by Freshman Jacob Rothman who fired a 92, Eric Berndt finished his HS career with a 102, Kyleigh Ramos just missed her best round of the season with 112, Nate Arntz was off of his average shooting a 120 and Tess Woerner our other Senior came in with a 126. The top 3 teams from our Region16 event will be making their way to the MHSAA Golf State Finals at GVSU, the Meadows, as well as the top 3 individuals not on 1 of the winning teams:
