ONSTED COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL: 54
Clinton clawed its way to a victory tonight vs Onsted, previously losing to them in the season opener. Thanks in big part to Burt putting the team on his shoulders tonight in an absolute dominant performance dropping a career high 40 pts and 9 rebounds. Onstead had no answer for Burt defensively. Burt scored inside and outside seemingly at will. Clinton as a team though struggled offensively, especially in the second quarter after a hot start in the first. The game once again came down to the final seconds with Clinton closing the game out at the free throw line. Buie scored 6, Schaffner 4, Briggs 2, Campbell 2, Ahrens 2.
