ONSTED COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL: 57
With all the setbacks for the season, Clinton was finally able to play its first game of the season Tues 2/9 in what would typically be mid-season play. Excited to take the floor, but limited on pre-season preparation, Clinton got off to a slow start and were never able to find their typical offensive rhythm. Although they played from behind most of the game they showed a fighting spirit to keep the game competitive. Burt was the leading scorer with 13, Briggs showed his shooting acumen scoring 9 but shooting 60% from behind the arc. Stockford scored 9 and Shaffner scored 8. We look forward to the boy's next game where they have the opportunity to shake off some rust against Dundee on Thursday night.
