The 13 wrestlers that qualified for the individual state meet at Ford Field represented Clinton well over the weekend with 9 earning all-state honors. The Redskins were led by 189 pound sophomore Logan Badge. Badge won his 2nd title in as many years tying the school record for most state titles, with a 6-4 decision over Justin Carnahan of New Lothrop. He got to the finals with 3 pins in the 3 matches to get there. Kent McCombs stormed his way to the finals with a pin and 2 technical falls outscoring his opponents 36-7. He dropped his championship match to finish 2nd at 145. Brayden Randolph also dominated his way to the finals with a pin, tech fall, and major decsion at 171 pounds. Randolph also dropped his finals match 3-2 to finish 2nd. Connor Busz (103), George Ames (135), and Spencer Konz (160) all finished 3rd. Jack Voll (215) and Will Felts (285) finished 6th to both earn their first all-state awards. Chase Packard at 112 finished 8th.
