Boys Middle School Basketball vs. Morenci Area HS School

The 8th Grade team traveled to Morenci, to face the Bulldogs, in their first game of the season. The team suffered the loss by the score of 34-14. "The boys played with hustle tonight, but being off for 5 days straight did hurt us some with our execution. We dug ourselves a 12-0 hole after that first quarter, but credit the team for continuing to work hard. After that, we played a pretty solid game, as the last 3 quarters the score was 22-14. Scoring for the Redskins were Teddy Pizio with 6 pts, Brandon Johnson 4pts, Seth Root 2pts and Gavin Shores 2pts. We will get after it in practice to get ready for a 4 team tournament at Sand Creek this Saturday." commented Coach Ramos.
