Clinton traveled to Morenci last night for their double header against the Morenci Bulldogs.  Clinton swept the Bulldogs in straight wins. Clinton won each match in 3 and improves to 15-13-2 (5-3 in TCC) on the season. 

Clinton came out ready to play and was strong with their serves and hitting tonight.  Team serving percentage was 94.4%.  Their overall team hitting % was .396!

Leading the team in serving points was Lily Thompson with 31 (15 digs, 10 serve receive) while Josilyn Schanz had 15 points (7 kills), and 14 points by Karlee Szczesniak (58 assists, 4 digs). Ashlyn Schmidt had 11 points (22 digs, 18 serve receive passes). Leading on the offensive side was: Sam Renaldi with 20 kills (7 digs and 7 serve receive passes) followed by Lena Korte with 18 kills and 2 blocks on the night.  Megyn Arntz had 17 kills and 5 blocks.  Tess Woerner had 14 kills (15 digs, 6 points, and 16 serve receive passes).  Jaecy Jones and Libbi Fair each had 8 serving points.  Jaecy also contributed with 16 digs and 8 serve receive passes while Libbi 15 digs and 2 serve receive passes. 

Clinton will host their annual Cancer Game this Thursday, October 17th against TCC team Sand Creek starting with JV at 5 pm and Varsity to follow.  They will also head to Adrian High School for their annual County Tournament.
