Boys Varsity Football vs. Britton Deerfield Schools

The varsity football team rolled up over 500 yards of total offense to defeat Britton-Deerfield, 57-18, on Homecoming Friday night. 

Noah DeShano paced the offense with four touchdowns, finishing with 73 yards on 11 carries. Brayden Randolph ran for 101 yards on 11 attempts and added two scores, while George Ames added a rushing touchdown. 

Quarterback Dylan Settles had a great all-around evening, completing 2 of 4 passes for 54 yards, rushing for 71 yards on 7 carries, notching two punt returns for 31 yards, and adding a 42-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown after a Logan Badge sack/forced fumble in the third quarter. 

Randolph finished the game with a season-high 17 tackles, including 13 solo and one for loss. Ridge Ahrens added eight tackles, an interception, and a forced fumble. DeShano had two quarterback sacks, to go along with one from Badge, Sebastian Roesler, and Jack Voll. Badge caused two fumbles, and Will Felts also caused one on the evening. 

Jonathan Baughey was 7-for-7 on the night in extra points for the Redskins (6-0, 4-0 TCC), whose victory sets up a showdown with defending league champion Whiteford (4-2, 4-0 TCC) for at least a share of the TCC title Friday night at Wegner Field.
