The #6 Ranked Clinton Redskins capped off the TCC season by capturing 1st place overall today at the Hills of Lenawee by shooting a team score of 341, besting the 2nd place Trojans of Whitmore Lake, 372. "The team played well during our Jamborees and earned the 3Peat tonight." commented Coach Ramos. The Redskins were lead by Austin Fausers 73, only 2nd golfer in TCC history to be a 4x time Champion of the league. Followed by Garrett Ramos who earned 2nd place in the league overall. Also making the all league TCC 1st team were Daniel Shovels, 92-best 18 hole round in high school career and Eric Berndt also 1st team with a 102 today.  Will Gragg who fired a 90 today was just on the outside looking in for all league TCC this year, only his first year of competitive golf. The Redskins next tournament will be next Wednesday May 29th when they host the MHSAA Div IV Region 24 golf tournament, with a trip to the state finals on the line. This year the Div IV State Golf Finals are being held at the Meadows GC on the campus of GVSU. We would love to have a crowd out there on Wednesday.
