Clinton lost game 2 6-7 after leading the first 6 innings. Lily Thompson was the losing pitcher, allowing just 1 earned run on 11 hits, one walk and 6 strikeouts. Libbi Fair came in for relief in the 6th allowing 2 hits and 1 earned run. Libbi started the 7th, the lead off got a hit, then Lily came in to finish the inning. Clinton led going into the 7th 6-5.  Lily gave up one hit and had 2 huge strikeouts, but a missed throw from the catcher to third allowed the go ahead run to score. 

Offense was a group effort, out hitting Flat Rock with 13 hits  Payton Hernandez was 3-4 with 2 doubles and an RBI, Libbi Fair was 3-4 with a double and 2 RBI, Lily Thompson was 2-4, and Samantha Renaldi was 2-4 with 3 RBI.  Jaecy Jones was able to get a lead off single in the bottom of the 7th, but Flat Rock was able to get the next 3 batters out, stranding her at first.  

Clinton is now 3-3 and will continue play Wednesday, home verse Morenci
