The varsity wrestling finished 2nd with 214 points at the annual Dave Elliott invite. Woodhaven won the championship with 244 while Manchester (190.5), Tecumseh(177), and Coldwater (116) rounded out the top 5. Finishing first for Clinton were Noah Comar, Spencer Konz, and Brayden Randolph. Comar and Randolph were named the tournaments MVP's for the lower and upper weights. Finishing 2nd was AJ Baxter, George Ames, and Riley Jeffrey. Jeff Konz was 3rd and Cecil Rafferty 4th. Kent McCombs and Landis Gillman placed 5th and Christian Minard, Deegan Herman, and Billy Baker placed 6th. The wrestling team is on the road twice this week. Wednesday at Adrian Madison before heading to Grand Rapids Forest Hills Eastern on Saturday for a team tournament.
