MILAN HIGH SCHOOL: 6

The 8th Grade MS Football TEAM traveled to Milan to take on The Big Reds in their final contest of the season. The TEAM emerged victorious 44-6. On defense, the TEAM started a little slow but settled into another dominant performance. Leading the way was Bradyn Lehman with 10 tackles, Zak Shadley followed with 7 tackles, Nate Smith, Brian Baker and Frederick Wade each recorded 4 tackles with Wade also recovering a fumble. Brandon Felt had 3 tackles and Ethan Younts 2 tackles. Alex Ferrell and Lucas Richie each recorded a tackle. Grant Stockford continued to enforce a no-fly zone. Grant recorded an interception in each of the first five games and he continued that enforcement with two more interceptions on the night to give him a total of 7 on the season. Offensively, the TEAM ran for 300 yards on the night and passed for another 108 yards. Leading the way was Brian Baker with 7 carries for 100 yards including a 33-yard touchdown run. Bradyn Lehman had 6 carries for 78 yards including touchdown runs of 9 and 30 yards. Zak Shadley carried the ball 5 times for 31 yards with a two-point conversion. Maxx Stitt had 2 carries for 68 yards including a 65-yard touchdown run and a two-point conversion. Grant Stockford had 2 carries for 12 yards and a two-point conversion. Stockford was also 2 for 2 passing for 108 yards including a 63-yard touchdown pass to Bradyn Lehman. Stockford also connected with Nate Smith for a 45-yard touchdown pass. Lucas Richie had 1 carry good for 2 yards. The offense doesn’t roll without the guys in the trenches. Manning the trenches for the TEAM were Alex Voll, Trevor Lakatos, Nate Smith, John Sclafani, Brandon McLaughlin, Jacob Gilson, Maxx Stitt, Brandon Felts, Zach Duford, Issac Peck, and Alex Ferrell. With the victory tonight, the TEAM finishes with a two-year record of 12-0. They also outscored their opponents 358-14 in those 12 games.
