Last night the Clinton JV volleyball girls traveled to Madison for a TCC matchup.  The match would go 3 sets for a tough battle for a winner.  In set one the girls would lose a very close hard fought set 25-27, and would then go on to come from behind and win set two 28-26.  With the match being tied 1-1.  It would all come down to the third and final set to determine a winner on the night.  The final set of the night would not in our favor on the night and we would lose 6-15.  The whole night was back and forth between both teams and unfortunately some of the errors would catch up and give the girls their first TCC loss.  The girls did great from behind the service line with a 96.36% serving percentage.

            On the night Lena Korte led the team with 10 kills, 3 digs.  Lily Thompson had 2 kills, 3 digs, led with 9 assists, and had 4 points.  Jaecy Jones and Ashlyn Schmidt respectively each had 9 digs on the night, and Hallie Kittle had 4 assists, 3 digs, 6 points and 3 aces.

            The JV volleyball team will travel to Warren on Saturday September 15^th to play in the big fish volleyball showcase hosted by mercy high school that starts at 8:30 a.m.
