The Clinton Redskin Varsity Co-ed Track program was represented at the MHSAA Division 3 State Championships June 2 at Comstock Park High School near Grand Rapids. Athletes competing were Amanda Schaare (Shot put/discus), Clayton Langer (Long jump), Conner Brodie (Shot put), Lucas Crumb (110 High hurdles) and the 800m relay team of Alex Wylie, Noah DeShano, Colton Freeman and Trevor Underwood. Placing and earning All-State were Amanda Schaare in the discus where she defended her State title from 2017 and took home the gold medal once again in 2018 with a throw of 128 feet. She also placed second in the shot put with a career best throw of 43 feet 9.25. Lucas Crumb earned All-State as well placing 6th in the 110 high hurdles with a career best time of 15.37. A job well done by our Clinton Redskin student athletes.
