The Clinton Redskin Co-ed track teams competed at the Manchester Metrics Invitation on Friday May 11 and the following performances were turned in. For the girls, the four mile relay team of Ali Elwart (3rd-6:28), Alissa King (4th-6:31), Makayla Fletcher (6th-6:37) and Ashley Bouse (7th-6:44) placed second overall, the sprint medley relay team of Megyn Arntz, Chelsea Scheffler, Tessia Struck and Paige Studnicka placed 4th (2:10), the distance medley relay team of Lindsey Burton, Elwart, Fletcher and King placed second (15:44), the shot put relay team of Amanda Schaare (33-0), Saranikka Brockway (23-2) and Shelby Mellinger (20-6) placed first and the discus relay team of Schaare (129-0), Emily Kirk (69-3) and Shelby Mellinger (66-9) placed second. For the boys, the long jump team of Clay Langer (18-11), Ian Root (17-10) and Noah DeShano (15-1) placed first, the shot put relay team of Conner Brodie (43-8), Brandt Brown (35-1) and Gabe Gibbs (34-0) placed second, The distance medley relay team of Todd King, Nate Chavez, Tyler Szczepanski and Cooper Renaldi (13:00) placed second and the four mile relay team of Noah Smith (3rd-5:10), Christian Minard (7th-5:13), Nate Chavez (10th-5:30) and Todd King (14th-5:40) placed 2nd as well. Both the boys and girls teams finished 3rd overall though the invitation was cut short due to weather conditions. The teams will compete at Adrian-Madison on Tuesday for th final TCC contest of the season.
