Clinton came back in game 2, winning 7-4. Payton Hernandez was the winning pitcher allowing 5 hits, 8 walks, and 1 strikeout. Libbi Fair came in for the last out in the top of the 7th with a 2 out, bases loaded strikeout.
Libbi Fair was 3-3 with 2 doubles, Jaecy Jones was 2-3 with 2 RBI, Taylor Rothman was 2-4, Ryley Baugh was 2-3 with 2 RBI, Samantha Renaldi was also 2-3 with a double. Chloe Houghton was 2-4 with 2 RBI, and Briana Johnson debuted back at the plate, going 1-2.
Defense was in charge, coming up with big plays throughout the night.
Clinton continues play tomorrow at New Boston Huron.
