CoEd Varsity Track vs. Multiple Opponents

The Clinton Redwolves Track and Field teams had their first LCAA double-dual meet versus Hillsdale and Columbia Central on April 19. The women defeated Columbia Central 69-56, but lost to Hillsdale 86-36. The men lost to both schools, Hillsdale 87-49 and Columbia Central 74-62. Even though the competition was tough there were plenty of exceptional performances.
Winning in the women's events were Morgan Hill in the 400m with a PR of 1:08.49 and Griffin Faulkner in the pole vault. Ashlynn Phillips (100m), Annika Schmittlein (100m), Lila Randall (100m and 200m), Isabella DesJardins (100m and 200m), Kaylie Livingston (200m), Sarah King (1600m), Zoey Vargo (100m hurdles), Mya Harris (300m hurdles), Izzy Szubielak (shot put and discus), and Kira Wilson (high jump) all set personal bests.
In the men's events, winners were the 4x100 relay team of Zak Shadley, Max Stitt, Brenden Benschoter, and Grant Stockford, and Mason Brodie in the shot put and discus. Brenden Benschoter (100m), Eric Ramsey (100m and 200m), Max Stitt (100m), Angel Rubio (100m), Teddy Pizio (100m), Derek Hill (100m), Nick Spicer (100m and 200m), Gabe Bourns (200m), Luis Piatt (400m), Jack Morgan (800m), Gabe Manchester (1600m), Austin Putnam (1600m), John Gilroy (shot put and discus), Trevor Gittings (shot put), Zach Duford (shot put), Alex Farrell (shot put and discus), Jeffrey Dudek (shot put and discus), Trevor Lakatos (discus), and Macray Connors (long jump) also set personal bests.
Our next meet will be on April 26th at home for an LCAA tri-meet versus Hudson and Dundee.
