The Redskins traveled to Madison High School on Thursday for a league match-up and came away with a 68-38 win. 

"This one was much needed. It felt great to finally play to our potential. We kind of hit the 'restart' button Wednesday in practice and focused on our 12 game season and re-structured our goals. The guys came in with the fresh-start mindset, and it showed," commented Coach Jordan Kelly.

Clinton got a team effort on the defensive end, forcing turnovers leading to transition scores, the bulk of that coming in the second quarter as they outscored the Trojans 26-5 in the frame. Madison was held without a field goal in the quarter, with all 5 points coming from the free throw line.

"We did a great job of being the aggressor tonight. Once we got the feel of forcing a turnover or two, that fueled us and made us pressure more. We started pinning our ears back and getting after it." Kelly added.

Leading the way for the Redskins were Mitchell Drabicki with 14 points, Steven Fortney with 13, and Justin Felts with 12. The team was extremely unselfish tonight, Clay Langer led the way with 6 assists and 4 steals, Collin Stapnowski added 5 assists and 3 steals. Justin Felts tacked on 4 steals, 3 assists, and 5 rebounds.

"We really focused on winning the rebounding and turnover battle tonight. We feel if we win those each night, we'll give ourselves a great chance to win."
